Gratitude

This post is to specially thank my friend Chelsea Dagger who brought  goodies for me from the famous Grand Sweets in Chennai. I just fell in love with the eggplant thokku - it was just amazingly delicious when had with sambhar, hot rice and yogurt. Sadly, this didn't last for very long in my house and so, I do not have any pictures of this beautiful pickle. The other two, the idli podi and the paruppu podi, are awesome as well, when had with steaming idlis or rice. Incidentally, these two have sparked off a wave of creativity in my husband who has taken  to rustling up similar powders at home.
