Weekend Buffet Update

So the weekend was good. I was able to check out this new place 'Grillopolis' near the Infinity Mall in Lokhandwala, Andheri. Its located in the 'food heaven'as I call it, since the area around Infinity Mall is just stuffed with restaurants of all kinds.
The interiors of the restaurant are beautiful. Dark wood and stone reminds you of an old english pub. The first floor actually has more lounge kind of a feel to it. It has a beautiful bar and a huge flat-screen television for watching games. The ground floor has heavy wooden furniture, comfortable chairs, lovely silverware and china, attentive staff and a wide array of food to choose from. Drinks, including beer and Sula Red and White wines, are unlimited with the buffet that costs around Rs 650/- with taxes (per person).
Each table gets a platter of tabbouli, hammous and baba ghanoush. There is also a platter of various kinds of pita, garlic bread, vegetables, olives and jalapenos.
The appetizers consisted of an extensive variety of grilled treats from around the world including Lemon Chicken on skewers, tandoori gobhi and chunks of marinated corn on the cob, baked potatoes with cheese in jackets, king prawns in a mango-mustard marinade, grilled kingfish, and saucey chicken balls (served in very interesting bowls). All of these were served on our table itself.
The salad bar was alongside was next to the maincourse buffet spread. The tastiest was the Egg and Cucumber Salad. Other stuff of interest included Couscous, Grilled Chicken with Pasta Salad, and a combination of fresh fruit.
The maincourse spread included ratatouille, baked potato slices in cheese, lamb bolognese, chicken in cranberry sauce and mashed potatoes.
Long story short, the buffet is definitely worth a try.
